Migrate from EcoTransIT

At Lune, we make emissions calculations easy, accurate, and flexible. Migrating from EcoTransIT? You’re in the right place!Lune supports migration from EcoTransIT’s API and CSV formats, with no complex setup required. You can switch in 5 minutes or less and continue delivering emissions data without disruption.
  • This feature is currently in Beta. While we strive for full compatibility with EcoTransIT, some features (such as templates, input conversion, and certain output fields like energy consumption) are still in development. If you have any questions or run into issues, please reach out to [email protected]!
    • We work to provide you as accurate of a calculation as possible for every shipment. We use detailed calculations and employ several fallback strategies to ensure the best result. Check out our calculation methodology here!

    API migration

    Switching your API integration to Lune only requires two steps:
    1. Generate an API key in your Lune account.
    2. Update your API endpoint to https://beta.lune.co/EcoTransIT
    That’s it! There’s no need to modify your request format. Your responses will be structured exactly as before, ensuring zero downtime or disruptions.Save the emission estimate ID to explore the calculations in greater detail in the dashboard.

    Upload a CSV

    If you use CSV files, migration is just as easy:
    1. Log into the Lune dashboard and navigate to the Logistics Spreadsheet Calculation page.
    2. Either drag and drop, or upload your CSV exactly as you would with EcoTransIT.

Once the CSV has been processed, you’ll receive an email and be able to download the results. The results format will also match what was expected before, making for an easier migration experience.
